Day 8 • Count Up To 50! — Distinct Smell of Red Movie Poster
This was an independent movie created by my brother in 1999. I designed all the materials for the movie including the video sleeve, opening movie sequence and press kit. Shown here is the poster.

Day 6 • Count Up To 50! — #TBT — A throwback to circa 1991. American Greetings KidZone POP.
I created the illustration on this POP sign using Dr. Martin's Dyes way back when I worked a Smiley-Hanchulak. Check out the Lumina van!

Day 1 • Count Up To 50! — Ken Griffey Jr. Poster
This piece is literally one of the latest things I have completed (05.17.2016).
It's based on an online Photoshop class where I created all the textures with old-fashioned brushes and sponges, etc., scanned them and then manipulated them on the computer.

A new year, a new logo. And ...
Wow! Over 21 years and I finally updated my logo. Wanted to bring it at least into the new millennium. A little late being that its 2016. There are other changes on the way and of course the "Count Up to 50" promotion — a 365 day retrospective on the first 50 years of my art life. That starts on May 21, 2016.
Follow me on Instagram (tripleplaydesign), Twitter (emkittel) and Facebook (Triple Play Design) as well as this blog. I will post one art image per day from my past. Look for anything from rough pencil sketches to printed samples and everything in between.
